META: ERP Still Matters

In its latest evaluation, Meta Group finds the Tier 1 enterprise resource planning (ERP) mature and consolidated, with five studied vendors accounting for more than 80 percent of the market share. Still, there is room for maneuvering and ERP retains its importance, Meta says.
